As an introductory offer and to welcome the Lexmoto brand to Malta, MG WHEELS have selected an entry scooter price of €1,399 (VAT included) and a motorcycle entry price of €2,199 (VAT included). At MG WHEELS you will find a range of 125cc scooters and motorcycles to suit your specific requirements. Whether you are a novice rider looking for a learner scooter or motorbike or are an experienced rider that is looking to upgrading your existing bike, or having a second bike for practical and economic means of transport we can help.
Riding a Motorcycle has many benefits that you may not have even considered. Here are a few of the most prominent reasons why more and more people are switching to two wheels instead of four.
Affordable new models
The main reason why certain people start to consider buying a motorcycle is money. Unfortunately, second hand bikes can be great, but they can equally be a great disappointment. If you have been unfortunate or a victim to acquiring a bike that may not have been taken well care of by the previous owner, when you buy a new bike you gain the support of a 2-Year warranty and an Authorised Dealer to contact in the event of assistance or after-service.
Using a scooter or motorcycle to commute will save you time and money every day, besides the hassle of finding a parking space. The saving primarily comes from the ability to filter swiftly through traffic. Moreover, you reach your destination point at a much more predictable time and find easy parking. How many times have you been late due to traffic congestion or no parking availability?
Better Fuel Efficiency
With the price of fuel rising, riding a scooter or motorcycle can save you a considerable amount of money compared to daily driving. With our 125cc scooters and motorcycle you can easily achieve the 100mpg figure through the majority of the 125cc model range being offered. You do not need to invest in priced hybrid or electric car to reduce your monthly fuel bill.
Being Environmentally Friendly
Scooters and motorcycles use less oil and produce less carbon emissions than their four-wheeled counterparts. Enjoy the freedom of riding your bike knowing full well that you are reducing air pollution and instead contributing to cleaner air.

The registration figures are released on a monthly basis from the MCIA. The report looks at new registrations for all road legal vehicles of all types and capacities. In the past number of years there has been one very familiar placement. Honda and Yamaha have dominated month after month for years. Given that their ranges include not only 125cc models but also larger capacities it's clear to see that both of these companies offer comprehensive ranges catering to a broad selection of the motorcycle industry.
That makes it all the more surprising that Lexmoto, a brand only created in 2007 and only featuring a selection of 50 and 125cc models has disrupted the monopoly at the top. With 624 units registered, Lexmoto beat Yamaha who recorded 617 registrations during January. Continuing momentum Lexmoto repeated the feat in February with 597 registrations topping Yamahas 550. Although Lexmoto finds itself a considerable number behind Honda it is certainly a sign that the confidence in Chinese motorcycles and scooters is growing.
Lexmoto would like to thank all new riders and dealerships who assisted in achieving such a fantastic feat. We wait to see how the rest of the year progresses.
